In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

One of the incomparable blessings of Almighty God for the Muslim nations of our region, and especially for the noble people of Islamic Iran, is the gift of the “Persian Gulf.” This is a blessing that transcends a mere body of water; it has shaped our identity and civilization. Beyond serving as a point of connection for nations, it has established a vital and unique artery for the global economy through the Strait of Hormuz and beyond, into the Sea of Oman. This strategic asset has incited the greed of many devils throughout the centuries. The history of repeated transgressions by European and American foreigners, along with the countless insecurities, losses, and threats faced by regional countries, is but a fraction of the sinister schemes of the world’s arrogant powers against the inhabitants of the Persian Gulf region—the most recent example being the recent bullying and intimidation by the Great Satan.

The nation of Iran, which possesses the longest coastline along the Persian Gulf, has made the greatest sacrifices for the independence of the Persian Gulf and in confronting foreigners and aggressors; from the expulsion of the Portuguese and the liberation of the Strait of Hormuz—which serves as the basis for designating the 10th of Ordibehesht as the Persian Gulf National Day—to the struggle against Dutch colonialism and the epics of resistance against British imperialism, and so on. However, the Islamic Revolution was the turning point in these resistances, cutting off the hands of the arrogant powers from the Persian Gulf region. Today, two months after the greatest military expedition and aggression by the world’s tyrants in the region and the humiliating defeat of America in its scheme, a new era for the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz is being written.

The nations of the Persian Gulf region, which for many years had grown accustomed to the silence and submissiveness of their rulers in the face of tyrants and aggressors, have witnessed in the past sixty days the beautiful manifestations of resilience, alertness, and the heroic struggle of the brave personnel of the Army and the IRGC Navy, alongside the zeal and gallantry of the people and the youth of the dear southern coastline of Iran, in rejecting foreign hegemony.

Today, through the graces of God Almighty and by the blessing of the blood of the oppressed martyrs of the Third Imposed War—and specifically through the leadership of the Great and far-sighted Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may God exalt his station)—it has been proven, not only to global public opinion and the nations of the region but even to the monarchs and rulers of various countries, that the presence of Americans and their establishment of “nests” and “dens” in the lands of the Persian Gulf is the most significant factor of insecurity in the region. America’s fragile bases lack the capacity to provide even their own security, let alone offer any hope of providing security for the dependents and America-lovers of the region.

By the grace of God, the future of the Persian Gulf region will be bright—a future without America and in the service of the progress, comfort, and prosperity of its nations. We are “bound by a common destiny” with our neighbors in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. Foreigners who, from thousands of kilometers away, greedily sow malice in these waters have no place here, except at the bottom of its seas. This chain of victory, achieved by the grace of the Lord through the policies of resistance and the strategy of a “Strong Iran,” shall be the harbinger of a new order for the region and the world.

Today, the miraculous awakening of the Iranian nation is not limited to the tens of millions sacrificing themselves in the struggle against Zionism and bloodthirsty America; rather, the Islamic Ummah has joined the ranks in the forefront. Ninety million proud and noble Iranian compatriots, both inside and outside the country, regard all identity, spiritual, human, scientific, industrial, and fundamental/modern technological capacities—from nano and bio to nuclear and missile technologies—as their national assets, and they will guard them just as they guard our maritime, land, and air borders.

Islamic Iran, through the practical exercise of management over the Strait of Hormuz, will make the Persian Gulf region secure and will dismantle the apparatus of the hostile enemy’s exploitation of this waterway. The new legal rules and management of the Strait of Hormuz will bring comfort and progress for the benefit of all regional nations, and its economic opportunities will bring joy to the hearts of the people; by God’s will, even if the disbelievers hate it.
